Dentrade GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1988 by Peter Bausch in Cologne. Peter Bausch, who is a food technologist, had contact with the dental industry as a child. He comes from an old family of dentists and founders.

Currently he is the managing director of Dr. Jean Bausch GmbH & CO. KG and Dentrade GmbH & Co. KG in Cologne, Germany.

In 1989, Mr. Bausch met the developer of the Aqualizer, Prof. Dr. Martin Lermann, who was scientific director at the Temporo-Mandibular Joint Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago, at a dental industry exhibition. Since Mr. Bausch already had knowledge and contacts in dentistry through his work as managing director of Dr. Jean Bausch GmbH & Co. KG, he represented the perfect business partner for the expansion of Aqualizer in Germany.

Dentrade has developed further products in the TMD area in cooperation with experienced dentists, oral surgeons, physiotherapists, etc. As a manufacturer and distributor, the holistic influence on the neuromuscular system is important to Dentrade GmbH & Co. KG. Since the painful effects of craniomandibular dysfunction are often a sensitive and emotional matter, we put the patient's well-being first through constant research and close dialogue between professionals and specialists. Until now the company has close ties with Brazil, which gave rise to the cooperation and development of the AFR-Mini-REG. Since 2022, the portfolio has been expanded to include CMD's new splint, RehaSplint.

As a 1st and 2nd generation family business, values such as sustainability, responsibility and quality are fundamental to us.

Hager & Werken - A dental family business with tradition and innovation

Hager & Werken - founded in 1946 - is now managed by the fourth generation of the Hager family. Over the years, the company has made a name for itself worldwide as a "specialist for dental specialities" with innovative products for dentistry and dental technology.
